Dana Air Back In The Skies
Simon Ateba/Aviation correspondent Nigeria’s Federal Government on Monday evening restored Dana Air’s Operating licence saying the airline could resume flight operations immediately. Joe Obi, the spokesperson to the Minister of Aviation, Mrs. Stella Oduah, said in a statement that the suspension of the operations of the airline which took effect last Saturday is lifted.

Simon Ateba/Aviation correspondent Six months after it was grounded by the Nigerian government following the 3 June plane crash in Lagos, Dana Air will be back in the skies on Friday, the airline said today. The initial flight will take off at about 9.45 a.m. from the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos, Southwest Nigeria, for Abuja, the Nigerian capital.
